First dynamic replacement use in Mexico
The dynamic replacement technique was used for the first time in Mexico to treat the peaty soils of the Puerto Cancún UC-14 project in the Quintana Roo state. This housing development project initially included a piling system made of precast piles and a reinforced concrete structure to support the roads.
Menard Mexico proposed the combination of a dynamic substitution treatment and a load-distributing layer to support the roads of this future luxury neighborhood of Cancun. Over 1,300 dynamic replacements were carried out in 3 months.
